The role

We are looking for a DTC channel manager who will be responsible for managing all aspects of our DTC side, herocosmetics.us. Specifically, this role will develop and scale our Direct to Consumer programs, including CRM, and optimize the overall site experience. Goals will include increasing revenue, AOV, conversion rate, and return rate. This is a highly analytical role. This role will work closely with the VP Marketing, CDO, COO, growth team, and creative team. Areas of focus include:

Drive conversion●      Develop and execute DTC strategy to meet aggressive revenue growth targets.
●      Coordinate with various teams to execute marketing campaigns, promotional calendars, and new product launches in the DTC channel.
●      Optimize our web-flow and onboarding experience to continually improve conversion rates and maximize LTV.
●      Build our experimentation and A/B testing road map to improve user experience and reduce leaks within our conversion funne
●      Develop new site features informed by behavioral analytics and competitive benchmarking.
Drive retention and grow LTV●      Manage and develop CRM retention programs, including our loyalty and subscription programs.
●      Lead the execution, measurement, and optimization of retention campaigns across key channels (email, SMS, chat).
●      Analyze and identify customer trends/patterns to adjust CRM programs and inform larger marketing strategies. 
Analysis●      Report on overall performance, KPIs, and ongoing projects to key stakeholders and management team.


  • Minimum of 5 years of DTC eCommerce experience.
  • Must possess both quantitative analytical skills and qualitative and creative skills.
  • Well-organized and strong attention to quality and detail.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus is required.
  • Experience with email, marketing, and customer analytics platforms (e.g. Klaviyo, Yotpo, Recharge, Hotjar, Google Analytics, etc).
  • Experience with A/B, multivariate testing, and customer experience initiatives that support acquisition and conversion.
  • Experience building revenue and spend forecast from the ground up.
  • Strong project management skills in managing process and people cross-functionally with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Action-oriented with strong follow-through and prioritization skills to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously in line with business objectives and within time constraints.
  • Must have the ability to work with a rapidly growing business and thrive in a high paced and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and reporting presentation abilities.
  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics and other web analytic tools, is required.
  • Passion for the beauty industry ––beauty, skincare or wellness industry knowledge and experience is a plus.
